  • p: purl
  • st(s): stitch(es)
  • yo: yarn over
  • rep: repeat

Instructions

  1. Cast on 80 stitches using color A (grey).

  3. Row 2: *P1, k1; repeat from * to the end of the row.
  4. Row 3: *K1, yo, k1; repeat from * to the end of the row.
  5. Row 4: *K1, yo, p1; repeat from * to the end of the row.
  6. Rows 5-6: Repeat Rows 1-2 for a total of 6 rows (this creates the textured pattern).
  7. Continue repeating Rows 1-4 until the blanket measures approximately 60 inches in length, or until you desired length.
  8. Once you reach the desired length, knit 2 more rows in the k1, p1 pattern for a nice ending border.
  9. Bind off all stitches and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for weaving in ends.
  10. Using the tapestry needle, weave in any loose ends.

Finishing

Your cozy textured blanket is now complete! Gently block the blanket to even out the stitches and allow it to relax. Lay it flat to dry. Enjoy snuggling up with your new blanket!
