Colorful Striped Knit Scarf Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in various colors (suggested: 50g each of 5-6 different colors)
• US Size 8 (5.0 mm) knitting needles
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors

Gauge:

16 stitches and 22 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch.

Abbreviations:

• CO: Cast On
• K: Knit
• P: Purl
• St(s): Stitch(es)
• BO: Bind Off

Instructions:

1. Cast On: CO 30 sts using your first color choice.
2. Pattern:
   • Row 1 (RS): K all sts.
   • Row 2 (WS): P all sts.
3. Striped Pattern: Repeat Rows 1 and 2, switching colors every 12 rows until the scarf measures approximately 60 inches (152 cm) in desired length.
4. Each stripe can be 12 rows high. Use whichever color sequence you prefer from your yarns for a striped effect.
5. Finishing: BO all sts. Cut the yarn, leaving a 6-inch tail. Use a tapestry needle to weave in all ends on the wrong side of the scarf.
6. Finishing Touch: Block your scarf lightly to even out stitches and to bring out the beauty of the stripes.
