Instructions
Crop Top
- Start with a foundation chain of 60 ch for the bust size (adjust for sizing). Ensure the chain is not twisted.
- Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, make 1 dc. Continue to 1 dc in each ch across (58 dc). Turn.
- Row 2-10: Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), 1 dc in each st across. Turn.
- Row 11: Ch 1, sc in each st across to create a nice edge. Turn.
- For the neck opening, repeat rows 1-11 for a second piece (same size).
- Connect both pieces by placing them side by side and using sl st to attach the tops (about 10-12 inches long). Leave open for neck and armholes.
- Finish by weaving in all ends and adjusting fit as needed.
Skirt
- Begin with a foundation chain of 80 ch for a comfortable waist size. Turn.
- Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, 1 dc. Continue to 1 dc in each chain to the end (78 dc). Turn.
- Row 2-15: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), 1 dc in each st across. Turn.
- To shape the skirt, reduce the last 2 rows by 10 stitches each, maintaining the dc pattern.
- Row 16: Ch 1, sc in each st and finish with 1 sl st for a neat finish.
- To create a scalloped edge: * (2 dc, ch 1, sl st) in 1 st, skip 1 st*; repeat from * to * around the entire bottom of the skirt.
- Weave in all ends securely.
