Pattern:

Base Square

1. With Color A, ch 29.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across (28 sc). Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across (28 sc). Turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 until square measures 12 inches from the foundation chain. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Floral Motif

1. With Color B, join yarn in any corner of the square with a sl st.
2. Ch 1, sc in the same hole as join, then ch 5.
3. Sc in same space as previous sc to create a loop.
4. Repeat this to create four loops at each corner by chaining 5 for each.
5. Now work into the center of the square. Ch 3, and make 4 dc into the same space (this creates a cluster).

Final Touches
