Abbreviations:

  • ch: chain
  • sc: single crochet
  • hdc: half double crochet
  • sl st: slip stitch
  • st(s): stitch(es)

Pattern Instructions:

Round 1: Make a magic circle. Ch 1, work 10 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (10 sts)

Round 2: Ch 1, 2 hdc in each st around. Join with a sl st to the first hdc. (20 sts)

Round 3: Ch 1, *hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st*, repeat from * to * around. Join with a sl st. (30 sts)

Round 4: Ch 1, *hdc in next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st*, repeat from * to * around. Join with a sl st. (40 sts)
