Instructions

Sunburst Motif (Make 32)

1. Round 1: Start with a magic ring, ch 3 (counts as dc), 15 dc in ring. Join with sl st in top of ch-3. (16 dc)
2. Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in same st, 2 dc in each dc around. Join with sl st. (32 dc)
3. Round 3: Ch 4 (counts as tr), tr in same st, *ch 2, sk 1 st, (2 tr in next st, ch 2, 2 tr in same st)*, repeat * to * around. Join with sl st. (64 tr)
4. Round 4: Sl st to ch-2 sp, ch 3, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp, (3 dc in next ch-2 sp), repeat around. Join with sl st. Fasten off.

Joining Rows

1. Using whip stitch or preferred method, join motifs, aligning ch-2 corner spaces to create rows of 4 motifs each, with 8 rows in total.

Border

1. Round 1: Attach yarn to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 3, dc in each st around, working (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in each corner. Join with sl st.
2. Round 2: Ch 1, sc in each dc around, working 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st. Fasten off and weave in ends.
