Crochet Cheerful Sunflower Doily Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Medium Weight Yarn in Brown, Yellow, and Green
• 3mm Crochet Hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry Needle

Abbreviations:

• sl st - slip stitch
• ch - chain
• sc - single crochet
• dc - double crochet
• tr - treble crochet
• st - stitch
• sp - space

Instructions:

Center (Brown):

1. Make a magic ring, ch 1, work 10 sc into ring, join with a sl st to first sc. (10 sts)
2. Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, join with a sl st to first sc. (20 sts)
3. Ch 1, *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st*; repeat from * to * around, join with a sl st. (30 sts)

Petals (Yellow):

1. Join yellow yarn, ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in same st, *dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st*; repeat from * to * around, join with a sl st. (40 sts)
2. Ch 1, *sc in next 2 sts, skip 1 st, 5 tr in next st, skip 1 st*; repeat from * to * around, join with a sl st.

Border (Green):

1. Join green yarn, ch 1, *sc in each st across flat side of petal, ch 2, sl st in top of 3rd tr*; repeat from * to * around. Fasten off and weave in ends.
