Crochet Adorable Shiba Inu Puppy Blanket Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight yarn in blue, green, brown, cream, white, and black.
• Crochet hook size H/8 (5mm).
• Tapestry needle.
• Scissors.

Gauge:

10 stitches and 10 rows = 4 inches in single crochet (sc).

Instructions:

Base Blanket:

With Blue:

1. Ch 100.
2. Row 1: Sc in the second ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (99 sc).
3. Row 2-70: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. Fasten off.
4. Join green yarn to bottom edge of blue base.
5. Row 71-80: Ch 1, sc in each st across for grassy bottom detail, turn. Fasten off.

Puppy Appliqué:

Head & Body (Make 1 each):

1. With Brown, start with a magic circle. Work 8 sc into the circle, pull tight (8 sc).
2. Round 2: 2 sc in each st around (16 sc).
3. Rounds 3-7: Sc in each st around. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
4. With Cream, make a slightly smaller oval for the lower face against brown head. Sew to head.
5. Make body in a similar round shape but larger by 4-5 rounds.

Ears (Make 2):
