  4. Rnds 3-14: Knit every stitch (Stockinette Stitch).

  10. Rnds 26-28: Knit every stitch.
  11. Rnd 29: K2tog around (6 stitches remain). Cut yarn with a long tail.
  12. Using the yarn needle, thread through remaining stitches and pull tight to close the top. Weave in ends.
  13. For the thumb, locate the space left by the knitting (about 8 stitches). Pick up these stitches and CO 4 additional stitches. Join to work in the round.
  14. Rnds 1-4: Knit every stitch.
  15. Rnd 5: K2tog around (6 stitches remain). Cut yarn with a long tail.
  16. Close the thumb in the same way as the top of the mitten.
  17. Right Mitten

Repeat all instructions for the left mitten, making sure to adjust for the thumb placement for the right hand.

    Faux Fur Trim

    1. Using the faux fur trim yarn, pick up 6 stitches along the wrist edge of each mitten.
    2. Rnds 1-4: Purl every stitch to create a nice fluffy wrist section.
    3. BO all stitches, leaving a long tail to sew down the trim. Sew securely on both mittens.

    Finishing

Weave in any remaining loose ends, ensuring everything is neat and tidy. Your Cozy Textured Mittens are now ready to wear!
