Brioche Chevron Blanket Pattern
Materials
- Yarn: Worsted weight in two contrasting colors (Color A: White, Color B: Yellow)
- Knitting needles: US size 8 (5.0 mm)
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
10 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in brioche pattern
Abbreviations
- yo: Yarn over
- sl1yo: Slip one with yarn over
- brk: Brioche knit
- brp: Brioche purl
- k: Knit
- p: Purl
Instructions
Cast On: Using Color A, cast on a multiple of 20 stitches plus 1.
Setup Row (Foundation Row):
Using Color B:
- Row 1: *K1, sl1yo* across to last stitch, k1.
Using Color A:
- Row 2: *Brp, sl1yo* across to last stitch, brp1.
Pattern Repeat:
Row 1 (Using Color B):
- *Sl1yo, brk* across to last stitch, k1.
Row 2 (Using Color A):

Repeat Rows 1-2 until blanket measures desired length.
Finishing
