Amigurumi Flower Pot with Blossoms Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in orange, brown, white, light purple, light green, and yellow
• Crochet hook size G/4.0 mm
• Fiberfill stuffing
• 7mm safety eyes (2)
• Tapestry needle

Gauge is not critical for this project. Ensure your stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing.

Instructions:

Flower Pot:

1. Base:
   With orange yarn, make a mr.
   Round 1: 6 sc in mr (6)
   Round 2: inc around (12)
   Round 3: (sc, inc) around (18)
   Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24)
   Round 5: (3 sc, inc) around (30)
   Round 6: (4 sc, inc) around (36)
2. Body:
   Rounds 7-16: sc around (36)
   Round 17: (4 sc, dec) around (30)
   Round 18: (3 sc, dec) around (24)
   Round 19: (2 sc, dec) around (18)
   Finish stuffing firmly and fasten off.
3. Soil:
   With brown yarn, make a mr.
   Round 1: 6 sc in mr (6)
   Round 2: inc around (12)
   Round 3: (sc, inc) around (18)
   Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24)
   Round 5: (3 sc, inc) around (30)
   Round 6: (4 sc, inc) around (36)
   Attach brown soil inside pot with a sl st and fasten off.

Leaf:

1. With green yarn, ch 10.
   Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (9).
   Row 2-3: Turn, sc in each st across (9).
   Row 4: Turn, sl st in each st across (9).
   Fasten off and attach to pot.

Flowers (Make 3):

1. Petals:
   With white or purple yarn, make a mr.
   Round 1: 6 sc in mr (6)
   Round 2: (sc in next st, ch 3, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and next ch) repeat around (6 petals)
   Fasten off and weave in ends.
2. Center:
   With yellow yarn, make a mr.
   Round 1: 6 sc in mr (6)
   Fasten off, leaving a long tail to attach to flower.

Assembly:

• Attach safety eyes and embroider mouth on the flower pot.
• Stuff pot and sew bottom closed.
• Sew the leaf to the top of the pot, arranging it to one side.
• Attach stems (made from green yarn or pipe cleaners) and sew flowers to the top, arranging them as preferred.
• Use hot glue or stitch decorative cardstock message into flower pot arms.
