Materials

• Worsted weight yarn in grey (approximately 100g)
• Worsted weight yarn in cream (for face, approximately 25g)
• Worsted weight yarn in red (for heart, approximately 25g)
• Black safety eyes (12mm)
• Fiberfill stuffing

Instructions

Bear Body

1. With grey yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, 6 sc in magic ring (6)
3. Round 2: Inc in each stitch around (12)
4. Round 3: (sc 1, inc) repeat around (18)
5. Round 4: (sc 2, inc) repeat around (24)
6. Round 5-12: Sc in each stitch around (24) for 8 rounds.
7. Round 13: (sc 2, dec) repeat around (18)
8. Round 14: (sc 1, dec) repeat around (12)
9. Stuff the body with fiberfill.
10. Round 15: Dec around (6)
11. FO, weave in ends.

Bear Head

1. Repeat the same instructions as the body until Round 12 (24 stitches).
2. Add safety eyes between Rounds 10 and 11, about 6 stitches apart.
3. For the snout, change to cream yarn.
4. Make a magic ring, ch 1, and sc 6 in the ring (6).
5. Round 1: Inc in each stitch (12).
6. Round 2: Sc around (12).
7. FO, leave a tail for sewing. Stuff slightly and sew to the center of the face.
8. Embroider the nose with black yarn and add a smile.

Bear Ears (Make 2)
