Step-by-Step Instructions
Body
- Start with a magic ring using yellow or white yarn.

Head
- Repeat the body steps until you have 30 stitches.
- Work even for 6 rounds.
- Begin decreasing in the same manner as the body until you have 6 stitches remaining.
- Stuff the head and close securely.
Beak
- Using orange yarn, chain 6.
- Single crochet in the 2nd chain from the hook and across. You should have 5 stitches.
- Turn and work 5 rows of single crochet.
- To shape the beak, decrease each end until you have 2 stitches remaining.
- Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Wings
- Using the body color yarn, chain 7.
- Single crochet in the 2nd chain from the hook and across. You should have 6 stitches.
- Turn and work 4 rows of single crochet.
- To shape the wings, decrease each end until you have 3 stitches remaining.
- Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Feet
- Using orange yarn, chain 5.

- Turn and work 3 rows of single crochet.
- To shape the feet, decrease each end until you have 2 stitches remaining.
- Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Assembly
