Materials

• Yarn: 2 skeins of worsted weight cotton yarn in cream and 1 skein in black
• Hook: 5.0 mm (H-8) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

16 stitches and 8 rows = 4 inches in double crochet stitch.

• dc = double crochet

Crochet Crop Top

1. Start by chaining 70 stitches with cream yarn.
2. Row 1: In the 4th ch from hook, dc, then dc in each ch across. (68 dc)
3. Row 2: ch 3, turn. Dc in each dc across.
4. Row 3: ch 3, turn. *dc 1, ch 1, skip 1* repeat across. (34 shells)
