Crochet Textured Twisted Infinity Cowl
Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn (Approximately 200 yards)
- Size K (6.5 mm) crochet hook
- Yarn needle for weaving in ends
- Scissors
Stitches Used:
- Chain (ch)
- Single Crochet (sc)
- Double Crochet (dc)
- Slip Stitch (sl st)
Gauge: 12 stitches and 8 rows = 4 inches in double crochet
Finished Size: Approximately 9 inches wide and 32 inches around
Instructions:
- Start with a chain of 90 stitches.
- Join with a slip stitch to form a loop, being careful not to twist the chain.
- Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as first dc), dc in next stitch and in each stitch around. Join with sl st to top of ch-2.
- Round 2: Ch 1, *sc in next stitch, 2 dc in next stitch; repeat from * around. Join with sl st.
- Round 3: Ch 2, *dc in next stitch, sc in next stitch; repeat from * around. Join with sl st.
- Repeat rounds 2 and 3 until your cowl measures approximately 9 inches in height.
- Fasten off and weave in all ends with a yarn needle.
- To add a twisted effect, carefully twist the cowl once before wearing it.
