Crochet Textured Leafy Fingerless Gloves Free Pattern

Materials

• Worsted weight yarn (approx. 150 yards)
• 5.0 mm (H-8) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers

Gauge

Approximately 12 dc (double crochet) = 4 inches.

Sizing

One size fits most adults. Optionally adjustable for size.

Stitches Used

• Chain (ch)
• Double crochet (dc)
• Front post double crochet (fpdc)
• Back post double crochet (bpdc)
• Slip stitch (sl st)

Pattern

Wrist Cuff

1. Ch 30.
2. Join with sl st to form a ring, careful not to twist chain.
3. Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as first dc), dc in each ch around. Join with sl st to top of ch-2. (30 dc)
4. Round 2: Ch 2, *fpdc around next dc, bpdc around next dc; repeat from * around. Join with sl st. (30 st)
5. Repeat Round 2 until cuff measures 3 inches or your desired length.

Leafy Motif

1. Round 1: Ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 3, skip 2 st, sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join with sl st.
2. Round 2: Ch 2, dc in first sc, *ch 2, dc in next sc; repeat from * around. Join with sl st.
3. Round 3: Ch 1, fptr around first dc, *ch 5, fptr around next dc; repeat from * around. Join with sl st.

Main Body

1. Continue with the leafy motif, working from last round of the motif.
2. When reaching 7 inches tall from the cuff, finish off.
3. Repeat for second glove.

Finishing

1. Weave in all ends with tapestry needle.
2. Optionally block the gloves for a polished finish.

Notes

Customize the length by adding or reducing rounds in the main body. Adjust the tightness by using a different hook size.
