Materials Needed
- Worsted weight yarn in 3 colors (A, B, C)
- Size H (5.0mm) crochet hook

Gauge
4” x 4” = 14 stitches x 10 rows in zigzag pattern
Finished Size
Approximately 8” long x 7” wide
Abbreviations
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- fpdc = front post double crochet
- bpdc = back post double crochet
Instructions
Base
- With Color A, ch 45.
- Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across. (44 sc)
- Row 2: Ch 2, turn. Dc in each stitch across. (44 dc)
- Row 3: Ch 1, turn. *Sc in first st, dc in next st; repeat from * across. (44 stitches)
Zigzag Pattern
- Change to Color B.
- Row 4: Ch 2, turn. *Dc in first st, fpdc around next 2 stitches; repeat from * across ending with dc in last stitch. (44 stitches)
- Row 5: Change to Color C. Ch 1, turn. *Sc in first stitch, bpdc around next 2 stitches; repeat from * across. (44 stitches)
- Repeat Rows 4 and 5 for a total of 5 sets of zigzag stripes (10 rows). Use all three colors alternately.
Thumb Hole
- Row 15: With Color A, ch 1, turn. Sc in the first 20 stitches, ch 5 (this will create the thumb hole), sc in the remaining stitches. (44 stitches)
- Row 16: Ch 1, turn. Sc in first 20 stitches, sc in the 5 ch, sc in the remaining stitches.
Cuff
- Switch back to Color B.
- Ch 1, turn. Sc in each stitch across for 5 rows. (44 stitches)
- Fasten off and weave in all ends using a yarn needle.
Finishing
Repeat for the second glove. Enjoy your colorful, zigzag textured fingerless gloves!
