Stylish Textured Chevron Shawl Crochet Pattern

Materials Needed:
- Worsted weight yarn (approx. 500 yards)
- Crochet hook size H/8 (5.0 mm)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle for weaving ends
Abbreviations:
- ch - chain
- dc - double crochet
- sc - single crochet
- sl st - slip stitch
- sp - space
- rep - repeat
Finished Size:
Approximately 60 inches wide and 30 inches long.
Pattern Instructions:
- Ch 60.
- Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across. Turn.
- Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next st, *ch 1, skip next st, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * across, ch 1, dc in last st. Turn.
- Row 3: Ch 3, dc in next st, *ch 1, skip next ch-1 sp, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * across. Turn.
- Row 4: Ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 2, sc in next 2 dc; rep from * across to last st, sc in last st. Turn.
- Row 5: Ch 3, dc in each sc across. Turn.
- Repeat Rows 2-5 until desired length is reached, changing colors as desired. Color Change Tip: For a chevron effect, alternate between colors every 4 rows.
- Final Row: Ch 1, sc in every st across. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
