Crochet Patchwork Sloth Amigurumi Free Pattern
Materials
- Worsted weight yarn in various colors for the body, and cream and brown for the face and claws
- 3.5mm crochet hook
- Polyester stuffing
- 10mm safety eyes
- Tapestry needle

Abbreviations
- ch: chain
- sc: single crochet
- st: stitch
- sl st: slip stitch
- inc: increase (2 sc in one st)
- dec: decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
Body and Arms
Use different yarn colors for each square to create the patchwork effect.
Body
- Begin with a magic ring using your first color, 6 sc in ring. (6 sts)
- Round 2: Inc in each st around. (12 sts)
- Round 3: (Sc in next st, inc) around. (18 sts)
- Round 4: (Sc in next 2 sts, inc) around. (24 sts)
- Round 5-10: Sc in each st around. (24 sts)
- Change to a new color and repeat rounds 5-10 three times. (Patchwork squares)
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
Arms (Make 2)
- Start with the claw color, 6 sc in magic ring. (6 sts)
- Rounds 2-4: Sc in each st around. (6 sts)
- Change to body color, continue patterning like the body by crocheting small patches.
- Each patch: (Sc in next 2 sts, inc) around. (24 sts)
Alternate colors as desired. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Legs (Make 2)
