Crochet Adorable Bunny and Carrot Garland Free Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in cream, orange, green, and pink
• Crochet hook size G (4.0 mm)
• Fiberfill stuffing
• 6 mm safety eyes
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• inc: increase (2 sc in one stitch)
• dec: decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
• sl st: slip stitch
• st(s): stitch(es)

Instructions:

Bunny Head:

1. With cream yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Round 1: 6 sc in ring (6 sts)
3. Round 2: inc around (12 sts)
4. Round 3: (sc in next st, inc) around (18 sts)
5. Round 4: (sc in next 2 sts, inc) around (24 sts)
6. Rounds 5-7: sc around (24 sts)
7. Round 8: (sc in next 2 sts, dec) around (18 sts)
8. Place safety eyes between Rounds 5 and 6, 3 sts apart.
9. Round 9: (sc in next st, dec) around (12 sts)
10. Stuff firmly.
11. Round 10: dec around (6 sts)
12. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Ears (make 2 per bunny):

1. With cream yarn, ch 7.
2. Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (6 sts)
3. Rows 2-5: ch 1, turn, sc in each st across (6 sts)
4. Fold in half and sew to top of bunny head.

Carrot:

1. With orange yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Round 1: 4 sc in ring (4 sts)
3. Round 2: (sc in next st, inc) twice (6 sts)
4. Round 3: (sc in next 2 sts, inc) twice (8 sts)
5. Rounds 4-6: sc around (8 sts)
6. Round 7: (sc in next st, dec) around (6 sts)
7. Stuff lightly.
8. Round 8: dec around (3 sts)
9. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Carrot Leaves:

1. With green yarn, ch 5.
2. sl st in 2nd ch from hook, then in each ch across.
3. Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew to top of carrot.

Assembly:

1. Make desired number of bunnies and carrots.
2. Using green yarn, chain a length long enough to accommodate your bunnies and carrots, spacing them evenly apart.
3. Attach bunnies and carrots to chain using tails or by sewing.
4. Weave in all ends securely.

Embellish bunny faces with pink yarn to create noses. Hang your garland wherever you want to spread some cheer!
