Materials

• Approx. 220 yards of medium-weight yarn (shown in a dusty mauve color)

Instructions

Foundation Row: Ch 4, sl st to form a ring.

1. Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in ring, ch 3, 3 dc in ring, turn.
2. Row 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, dc in each dc across to ch-3 sp, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in ch-3 sp, dc in each dc across, 2 dc in final st, turn.
3. Row 3-20: Repeat Row 2, increasing by 4 sts per row, until you reach the desired size. Start incorporating spaces by alternating chains and skipping stitches every few rows to create a lacy effect. Example: On Row 4 and onwards, after initial 2 dc, ch 1, sk 1 st, dc in next st, continue pattern.
4. Edge Row: Ch 1, sc in each st and ch-1 sp across. Fasten off and weave in ends.
