Elegant Textured Lace Triangle Shawl
Materials:
- 1 skein of fingering weight yarn (approx. 400 yards)
- Hook: US-D/3, 3.25 mm
- Yarn needle
Gauge:
22 sts x 20 rows = 4" [10 cm] in dc pattern
Finished Size:
Approximately 48" across and 24" from center to point
Stitches and Abbreviations:
- ch – chain
- dc – double crochet
- tr – triple crochet
- sl st – slip stitch
- sp(s) – space(s)
Pattern Instructions:
Foundation Row: Ch 4, dc in 4th ch from hook (1 st formed). Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in same st, ch 1, skip next st, dc in next st, ch 1, repeat across until the last st, dc in last st. Turn. Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as first tr), tr in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, tr in the next ch-1 sp, ch 1, repeat across to last st, tr in top of ch-3. Turn. Row 3: Ch 3, dc in first st, ch 1, dc in next tr, ch 1, repeat across to last st, dc in top of ch-3. Turn. Repeat Rows 1-3 until piece measures approximately 24" from top to point or until yarn is nearly used up. Final Edge: Work 1 sc in each st across, work 3 sc in the corners for a nice finished scalloped edge. Finish: Weave in all ends and block gently to open up the lacework.
