Cozy Textured Snug Slippers Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight yarn (approximately 200 yards)
• 5.0 mm (H) crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Stitch marker

Sizes: Small (Women’s U.S. shoe size 4-6), Medium (Women’s U.S. shoe size 7-9), Large (Women’s U.S. shoe size 10-12)

Stitches Used:

• Chain (ch)
• Slip stitch (sl st)
• Single crochet (sc)
• Double crochet (dc)

Instructions:

Base of the Slipper:

1. Make a magic ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 2, 12 dc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 2. (12 dc)
3. Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each dc around. Join with a sl st. (24 dc)
4. Round 3: Ch 2, *1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc* repeat from * to * around. Join with a sl st. (36 dc)
5. Round 4: Ch 2, *1 dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc* repeat around. Join with a sl st. (48 dc)

Body of the Slipper:

1. Round 5: Ch 1, sc in each dc around. Join with a sl st.
2. Round 6-12: Repeat Round 5 to create the desired height, changing colors every 2 rounds if desired while keeping the waffle stitch pattern:
3. For Waffle Stitch: *Skip 1 sc, dc in next sc, ch 1* repeat around.

Finishing:

1. Round 13: Ch 1, sc in each sc around for the cuff. Join with a sl st.
2. Fasten off, weave in all ends using the yarn needle.

Repeat the above instructions for the second slipper.
