Crochet Cozy Striped Home Slippers Free Pattern

Materials Needed

• Worsted weight yarn in cream, brown, and green
• Crochet hook size H/8 (5mm)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations

• Ch - Chain
• Sc - Single crochet
• Hdc - Half double crochet
• Sl st - Slip stitch

Instructions

Sole - Make 2

1. With brown yarn, ch 21.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across, turn. (20 sc)
3. Rows 2-6: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. (20 sc)
4. Round 7: Ch 1, sc around the edge of the rectangle to create an oval shape, placing 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Upper Part - Make 2

1. With cream yarn, join to any stitch on the sole.
2. Row 1: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), hdc around the oval. Join with sl st to top of ch 2.
3. Rows 2-4: Ch 2, hdc in each st around. Change to green yarn in last stitch of Row 4.
4. Rows 5-6: With green yarn, ch 2, hdc in each st around.
5. Row 7: Change to cream yarn, ch 2, hdc in each st around. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. Fasten off.

Finishing

1. Use tapestry needle to weave in all ends.
2. Block lightly if desired.
3. Repeat for second slipper.
