Materials:

• Medium weight yarn (Size 4) in pastel pink, beige, and cream
• 4 mm crochet hook
• 10 mm safety eyes
• Yarn needle
• Fiberfill stuffing

Stitches Used:

• Magic ring
• Chain (ch)
• Slip stitch (sl st)
• Single crochet (sc)
• Double crochet (dc)
• Increase (inc) - 2 sc in one stitch
• Decrease (dec) - single crochet decrease

Instructions:

Head:

1. Start with beige yarn and create a magic ring.
2. Round 1: 6 sc in ring. (6)
3. Round 2: Inc in each st around. (12)
4. Round 3: *Sc in next st, inc* around. (18)
5. Round 4: *Sc in next 2 st, inc* around. (24)
6. Round 5-10: Sc around. (24)
7. Insert safety eyes between Rounds 6 and 7, about 4 stitches apart.
8. Round 11: *Sc in next 2 st, dec* around. (18)
9. Round 12: *Sc in next st, dec* around. (12)
10. Stuff the head firmly.
11. Round 13: Dec around. (6)
12. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Ears (Make 2):

1. With beige yarn, ch 10.

4. Stuff lightly.
5. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Collar:

1. With pink yarn, attach to top of the blanket.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, *3 sc in next stitch, skip 1 stitch*, repeat around. Join with sl st. Fasten off.

Granny Square Blanket:

1. With cream yarn, ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in ring, ch 2, *3 dc in ring, ch 2* repeat 3 times. Join with sl st in top of ch-3.
3. Round 2: Sl st in next 2 dc and into the ch-2 space, ch 3, 2 dc in same ch-2 space, ch 1, *3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch-2 space, ch 1* repeat 3 times, join with sl st.
4. Continue increasing rounds in granny square pattern alternating colors to achieve the desired size.
5. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Assembly:

1. Sew the ears onto the top of the head.
2. Attach the head to the center of the granny square.
3. Sew the arms on each side of the head.
4. Embroider facial features with yarn needle and black yarn.
