Materials

• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in a soft cream color (approx. 1000-1200 yards)
• Needles: Size 8 (5mm) circular needles, 32-inch length
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Stitch markers

Gauge

18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in ribbed pattern.

Abbreviations

• CO - Cast On
• K - Knit
• P - Purl
• BO - Bind Off

Instructions

Back Panel

1. CO 108 stitches.
2. Work in ribbed pattern (K2, P2) for 4 inches for the bottom ribbing.
3. Continue in ribbed pattern until piece measures 26 inches from the cast-on edge.
4. BO all stitches loosely.

Front Panel

1. CO 108 stitches.
2. Work in ribbed pattern (K2, P2) for 4 inches for the bottom ribbing.
3. Continue in ribbed pattern until piece measures 20 inches from the cast-on edge.
4. BO 6 stitches at the beginning of the next two rows for armholes.
5. Continue in pattern until piece measures 26 inches.
6. BO all stitches loosely.

Sleeves (Make 2)

1. CO 52 stitches.
2. Work in ribbed pattern (K2, P2) for 3 inches for the cuff.
3. Continue in ribbed pattern and increase 1 stitch at each end every 8th row until there are 72 stitches.
4. Continue until sleeve measures 18 inches from the cast-on edge.
5. BO all stitches loosely.

Assembly

1. Block all pieces to measurements.
2. Sew shoulder seams.
3. Sew sleeves to body.
4. Sew side and sleeve seams.

Finishing

1. Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle.
2. Optionally, add a single crochet edge around the neckline for a polished finish.
