Materials
- Worsted weight yarn (approximately 300 yards) in a calming blue color
- Size 8 (5.0 mm) knitting needles

Abbreviations
- k: Knit
- p: Purl

Instructions
- Cast On: Cast on 40 stitches using the long tail method.
- Row 1 (RS): *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of row (this is the ribbing). You should end with K2.
- Row 2 (WS): K all stitches (this creates the stockinette stitch).
- Rows 3-4: Repeat Rows 1-2.
- Wave Stitch Rows:
- Row 5 (RS): K4, *P3, K3; repeat from * to last 4 stitches, K4.
- Row 6 (WS): P all stitches.
