Materials Needed:

• Super bulky yarn (weight 6) - approximately 800 meters (874 yards)
• 12 mm (US 17) knitting needles
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Gauge:
8 stitches and 12 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in pattern stitch

Finished Size:
Approximately 100 cm x 150 cm (40 inches x 60 inches)

Stitches Used:

• Knit (K)
• Purl (P)
• Slip Stitch (Sl): Slip the next stitch purlwise with yarn in back

Pattern Instructions

Cast On:
Cast on 80 stitches.

Row 1 (Right Side):
*K2, Sl1*, repeat from * to * across, end K2.

Row 2 (Wrong Side):
Purl all stitches.

Row 3 (Right Side):
*K2, CS (Cross Stitch explained below)*, repeat from * to * across, end K2.

Row 4 (Wrong Side):
Purl all stitches.

Cross Stitch (CS) Instruction:
1. Knit the second stitch on the left needle, do not slide it off.
2. Knit the first stitch on the left needle, slide both stitches off together.

Repeat Rows 1-4 until your work measures approximately 150 cm (60 inches) or desired length.

Bind Off:
