Materials Needed:

• Yarn: Fingering weight yarn in multiple vibrant colors (approx. 400 yd/100g)
• Crochet Hook: Size 3.75 mm
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Instructions:

Bandana Base

1. Ch 4, sl st to form a ring.
2. Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), 2 dc in ring, ch 2, 3 dc in ring. Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in first st, dc in each st to ch-2 space, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch-2 space, dc in each st across, 3 dc in last st. Turn.
4. Rows 3-20: Repeat Row 2, alternating colors every 2 rows.

Fringe

1. Cut 8-inch lengths of all yarn colors used.
2. Fold each piece in half and attach to the edges of the bandana through slip knots, covering the two bottom sides.

Cord and Tassels

1. For the cord, braid three strands of each color together to desired length, attach to the top corners of the bandana.
2. To make tassels, wrap yarn around four fingers 20 times. Tie a strand of yarn tightly around one end and cut the loops on the other end. Attach a tassel to each end of the cord.

Finishing:

• Weave in all ends using a tapestry needle.
