Materials:
- Gradient lace yarn (approximately 600-800 yards)
- Crochet hook size 4 mm
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
- ch - chain
- dc - double crochet
- sc - single crochet
- sl st - slip stitch
- sk - skip
Instructions:
Foundation:
Ch 60 loosely.
Row 1:
- Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across. Turn.
Row 2:
- Ch 3 (counts as dc), *sk next 2 dc, (sc, ch 4, sc) in next dc, sk 2 dc, 5 dc in next dc; repeat from * across, ending with sk 2 dc, (sc, ch 4, sc) in next dc, dc in top of turning ch. Turn.
Row 3:
- Ch 3, dc in next dc, *sc in next ch-4 sp, ch 3, 5 dc in center dc of next 5-dc group, ch 3; repeat from * across, ending with sc in next ch-4 sp, dc in last 2 dc. Turn.
Row 4:
- Ch 3, *sk next dc, (sc, ch 4, sc) in next dc, sk 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc; repeat from * across, ending with sk next dc, sc in top of turning ch. Turn.
Row 5-60:
- Repeat Row 3 and Row 4 alternately until desired length is reached.
Edging:
Work a single crochet border around the entire scarf for a finished look.
Fasten off and weave in all ends using the tapestry needle.
Finishing:
Block your scarf to enhance the lace detail and drape. Enjoy your new elegant accessory!
