Materials

• Yarn: Chunky weight yarn in earthy brown, approximately 300 grams.
• Needles: Size 10mm (US 15) knitting needles.
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

8 stitches and 14 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Abbreviations

• CO - Cast On
• K - Knit
• P - Purl
• BO - Bind Off

Instructions

1. Cast On:
   CO 32 stitches loosely using the long tail cast on method.
2. Begin Ribbing:
   
   • Row 1: *K2, P2* repeat from * to * until end of row.
   • Row 2: *P2, K2* repeat from * to * until end of row.

   Repeat Rows 1-2 until the scarf measures approximately 6 feet in length or your desired length.

3. Bind Off:
   BO in pattern, maintaining the *K2, P2* sequence to the end of the row.
4. Finish:
   Cut the yarn leaving a 6-inch tail. Use the tapestry needle to weave in any loose ends securely.
